Summer feels different this year. Softer. More intentional. Less about rushing and more about building a life that feels like home. My wellness routine isn’t a strict schedule — it’s a rhythm. A set of rituals that help me stay grounded, hydrated, strong, and connected to myself.

This is the routine I’m committing to this July: simple, sustainable, and aligned with the woman I’m becoming.

Morning Movement: My Daily Reset

Movement is the first thing that shifts my energy. It doesn’t have to be dramatic — just consistent.

  • A walk through West Allis while the air is still cool
  • A moment to breathe before the day starts

This isn’t about burning calories. It’s about showing up for myself before the world asks anything of me.

Hydration + Morning Rituals

My mornings are built around hydration and warmth — a cozy combination that sets the tone for the day.

  • Liquid I.V. for a hydration boost
  • Coffee (to shake out the cobwebs)
  • A simple breakfast
  • A few minutes in the hot tub as a reward for my walk

These rituals make me feel nourished, awake, and grounded.

Skincare as Self‑Respect

Skincare isn’t vanity for me — it’s a signal. A reminder that I’m worth taking care of.

  • Shower
  • Cleanser + moisturizer
  • Sunscreen (non-negotiable in July)
  • A small sensory reward afterward — incense, a soft scent, or a quiet moment

It’s a ritual that tells my brain: I matter. My body matters. My glow-up matters.

Strength Training at Home

I’m building strength slowly and intentionally — with dumbbells, a bench, and a plan that fits my life.

  • Short sessions 3–4 times a week
  • Focus on form, not intensity
  • Tracking progress in small wins
  • Celebrating consistency over perfection

Strength is part of my identity now — not because I want to look a certain way, but because I want to feel capable.

Seasonal Joy

Summer wellness isn’t just routines — it’s joy. It’s letting the season shape my energy.

  • Warm mornings
  • Sunshine breaks
  • Simple outdoor moments
  • A slower pace that feels like breathing room

Seasonal living is part of my glow-up. It keeps me connected to the world around me.

Evening Wind‑Down

My evenings are simple, cozy, and meant to help me transition out of the day.

  • A rinse-off shower
  • Skincare
  • Laying out clothes for the next morning
  • A gratitude moment or reflection
  • A soft landing into rest

It’s not complicated — it’s intentional.

My Summer Wellness Intention

I choose routines that feel nourishing, rituals that feel grounding, and habits that help me become the woman I’m meant to be.
